Mount Forest Horticultural Society

District 7

About Us

NEW MEETING DATES AND LOCATION

The Horticultural Society will be meeting again this year on Thursdays at the Mount Forest Sports Complex Leisure Hall meeting room. With your continued suggestions and involvement, we look forward to another productive year of beautifying Mount Forest. Looking forward to growing together!

The Plant Sale will be returning to the Mount Forest Greenhouses Parking Lot, 460 Durham Street East, Mount Forest on Saturday May 25, 2024 from 9 am to 2 pm. (there may be a possibility of a few online pop-up sales throughout the summer, so check our facebook page for updates.)

The Garden Tour is scheduled for July 20, 2024 from 10 am- 4 pm. If you would like to be on the tour or know someone who might be interested, please let us know.

As always, we are here to help with your gardening questions. We will be doing garden cleanup of the town beds in the spring as well as some pruning workshops. We look forward to hopefully seeing everyone again this Spring.

Check out our Facebook Page for gardening tips or ask your questions. We are here to help.

Welcome to the Mount Forest Horticultural Society! Our goal is to promote horticulture and to help people by sharing our knowledge and passion for gardening. Our society consists entirely of volunteers who are vital to our success. They plant and weed our town gardens throughout the summer, organize and assist with our plant sale and garden tour.

If you love gardening, or are interested and not sure how to get started, or if you just want to help and experience a warm welcome to a wonderful community, come on out and see us.
