Clifford & District Horticultural Society is made up of over 250 members from our community who share a common interest in plants and gardening. Our membership is available to everyone and includes both beginners and experienced gardeners. We offer Flower Shows throughout the year. We look forward to seeing you get involved.

Our membership cost per year is $10.00

Our meetings are free with speakers and snacks provided at each meeting. We sell raffle tickets at each meeting to help offset costs, but you are not obligated to purchase one. Newsletters are distributed at each meeting and any future events are listed as reminders. We meet the fourth Tuesday of the following months, January, March, May August, September & November.

Your annual membership card entitles you to discounts on live plants at four horticultural suppliers. They are North Wellington Co-Op, Steckle's Produce & Flowers and Stones n' More Landscape Products.
Our volunteers maintain flower beds and plantings at the following locations, Post Office, Arena , Community Hall, Fire Hall, Clifford and Lakelet Cemeteries, Cenotaph, Old Rotary Park, Redwood Restaurant intersection, John Hobleman Rotary Memorial Park, both the front and back areas of the two large entrance signs into Clifford and at the base of the three smaller entrance signs. We also take care of the Flowerboxes that are placed on Elora Street and in front of the Arena.
