Durham & District Horticultural Society
District 8
The Durham & District Horticultural Society was first established in 1896 by a group of residents wishing to help beautify our town and to plan meetings to come together to teach, learn and discuss all things "green & growing!"
The Durham & District Horticultural Society is a "growing" community group. We hold many events, workshops and meetings throughout the year. We plant and maintain several gardens in the community with the help of our wonderful volunteers. Our Monthly Meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month in March, April, June, July, August, September and October at the Durham Legion starting at 7 PM with amazing speakers who instruct and answer all of our gardening questions. Membership is $10 for the year and everyone, members and non-members are always welcome! "Come Grow With Us!"
