The St. Thomas & District Horticultural Society has the distinction of being the oldest, continuous running society in Elgin County. Established in 1870.
The floral symbol for our society is a historic Hybrid Tea Rose “Crimson Glory”. We encourage new members to join our society, you can be sure of a warm welcome, no experience necessary just a love of gardening.

Our General Meeting is held on the fourth Wednesday of the month, starting at 7:00 PM. Except for the months of July, August and December
Our activities include; our Garden Emporium plant sale, an annual Student Award, Community Gardens at the CASO Station, Flower Shows, Garden Tours as well as guest speakers at our general meetings.
