Ridgetown & District Horticultural Society

District 11

About Us

Ridgetown & District Horticultural Society celebrated 100 years in 2020.

Our Society is an affiliate of the Ontario Horticultural Association and is a not-for-profit public service organization recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture Food and Rural Affairs.

We hold monthly general meetings that feature speakers, demonstrations or workshops. We also offer regular plant sales and actively participate in the beautification of Ridgetown and surrounding areas. We host an annual flower show for all ages.

Everyone is welcome to join the Society. Our membership includes Novice to Experts. There is a place for all level of gardeners: small gardens, large gardens, balconies, container, vegetables, tropical or perennial, we love them all.

Monthly speakers offer a wide range of horticultural and nature inspired themes.
