Belle River and District Horticultural Society
District 11
The Belle River & District Horticultural Society's Christmas Party will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. The theme of the party this year is "An Old Fashion Christmas" and it will be held at St. Simon and Jude Hall with the doors opening at 5:00 p.m. Members are invited to bring a guest and are asked to sign up at the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, November 19th. There is no cost to attend the party but attendees are asked to bring an appetizer or dessert for each person attending. There will be outside arrangements available for the members to try and win as well as guessing games and table arrangements. If you are unable to attend the meeting next Tuesday, please contact one of the Board Members and advise them of your intention to attend the Christmas Party. Come and have a fun filled evening with other members of the society and as in the past the monies raised will be donated to the Community Support Centre.
There are some more newsworthy items to note.
First we welcome Mary MacLaughlin back to the Board of Directors. Mary was previously part of the board and is a strong member. We wish her and the whole board a successful term.
Secondly for your information: The St Simon and St Jude Hall is now the St Simon and St Jude Events Centre. With this change come some more things our way and we will keep you updated as they become clearer.
