Heinke Thiessen is a Horticultural and Floral Design Judge and is actively involved in the Garden Clubs of Ontario Judges' Council. She is also a retired teacher of 14 years in the Horticultural Program at Sheridan College. Join Heinke as she gives us her unique perspective on a tour of famous gardens in Scotland.
"Amazing Cacti and Succulents" Judy is a Horticultural and Design Judge with a specific interest in cacti and succulents. Judy will talk about some of her favourites in this group of plants and give hints on growing exceptional show worth specimens.
"Native Pant Restoration at Ignatius" Guest speaker Patrick Kelly will talk about native plant restoration and nucleation in the Ignatius old-growth forest project. A mini flower show will be on display and society awards presented.
