At this time, events are being scheduled but may change without much notice depending on current covid-19 restrictions. Please check with the organizer for any you are interested in to get the most uptodate information.
Our next meeting, the last one before summer, is on May 15, at 7:30pm, in St. John’s Anglican church, Winona. The speaker will be James, from Dynamic Daylilies in Beamsville. This young man is very knowledgeable, and his presentation will tell us about new and old ways of propagating lilies. He’ll also be bringing some plants to sell, at around the $20 price point, so bring cash.
We will also have our member plant exchange. If you have plants to share from your garden, seeds or seedlings, or houseplants, pot (or bag) them up and bring them along. If you can, please label them with name, variety or cultivar, colour, and basic growing requirements. No invasive species please!
As always, guests are welcome. There will be refreshments, but no door prizes. (Plant sharing is enough!)
