Hosted, once again, in Roncy United Church, this accessible space will be your one-stop shopping experience for all the plants your home and garden needs. Plus, gently used gardening materials, free garden advice, info tables, & giveaways!
The Parkdale & Toronto Horticultural Society is pleased to announce the return of this beloved community event. This Plant Fair is the main fundraising event for our society, a recognized not-for-profit. So shoppers can take pride in knowing that the proceeds from every purchase will be going back into their very own community to nurture all sorts of greening initiatives that make for a more livable city.
We are committed to the encouragement of gardening in schools, outreach that makes gardening accessible to those of all ages and physical or mental abilities, and to supporting community and public gardens.
What About Jumping Worms?! ????
We’ve got you covered! Whether you know about invasive jumping worms or not, don’t fret when shopping at our fair. VERY special consideration is being put into the root-washing of all divisions, and replanting them in clean pots containing potting soil. In addition, many wonderful contributions from members are being lovely grown from seed.
This is a FREE event. TICKETS ARE NOT REQUIRED.
All are welcome. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
