With Nancy Abra
Nancy resides northeast of London, near Thorndale, Ontario.
Her love of horticulture has been influenced by her parents, especially her mom, and grandparents.
Nancy grows various veggies, herbs, small fruits, and cut & edible flowers.
She joined the London Middlesex Master Gardeners in 2003 and has a horticulture certificate from University of Guelph and she has OHA Horticulture & Floral Design certificate.
With her strong interest in social and military history, especially WW1 era, she is a volunteer gardener at Fanshawe Pioneer Village (London) and a member of the ‘Famous Five’ suffragette re-enactors.
Nancy owns & operators ‘From My Garden’, a unique cottage business.
She is a freelance writer for a small community newspaper in Dorchester and has a gardening column in the St. Mary’s Independent, St. Mary’s, Ontario. She also self-published a book, ‘titled ‘From my Garden ~ sharing stories, secrets and recipes.
