Attention:We only have thirteen more days to meet our minimum requirement of 100 cases for the special Bulb Order from Tradewinds.This is a fundraiser for the Ontario Horticultural Association which does not receive any monies from any other source than the membership dues.Please help us raise some money through this fantastic package of 50 bulbs.Please contact your local horticultural society secretary, treasurer or president if you would like to receive a package and more information.Societies must order at least one case of 15 packages,Only 13 days left. Orders must be sent to Katharine Smyth with a cheque made out to the OHA for a minimum 1 case at a cost $525.00.With over 250 societies, 100 cases should not be a problem.
Everything you need to know is as follows:
- Deadline for orders is June 30, 2025.
- Cost of one package of 50 bulbs is $35.00.
- BIODIVERSITY Bulb Mixture Package was specially developed for the OHA and not available in any catalogue.
- Each package of the Biodiversity mix consists of:
- Narcissus quail,
- Narcissus baby boomer,
- Narcissus Thalia,
- Muscari Latifolum,
- Leucojum Gravetye Giant,
- Specie tulips Sylvestris
- Tubergen gem.
- Minimum order must be one case of 15 packages at a cost of $525.00
- If there is not a minimum order of 100 cases across the province all cheques and monies will be returned to the societies.
- Delivery will occur in September.
- If one society can’t fill the order of one case, ask another society/club to join you.
- Some societies/clubs are planning on using packages as door prizes at their Fall Planning Meetings.
- Some societies/clubs are giving a package to a meeting speaker as a gift.
- To add to the fun, our representative from Tradewinds is offering three $100 gift certificates to Flowerbulbsrus.com to three individuals who send in the most creative photos of these bulbs in flower in the spring of 2026.
Cheques are to be made out to the Ontario Horticultural Association in the amount of $525 per case with your Society/Club name in the comment field.
