Societies in Ontario
Brockville & District Horticultural Society
The Brockville and District Horticultural Society is a gathering place for area gardening enthusiasts. We share knowledge, plants and seeds, while having fun. Monthly speakers discuss a broad range of garden topics to ensure all aspects of gardening are covered. We also have community outreach events, plant sales and garden tours. The club has installed and continues to maintain two gardens in Brockville. The small garden next to the pavilion in Rotary Park was installed in 2015 and a pollinator garden on the Brock Trail was planted in 2017. Guests are welcome to attend our meetings and events (a guest fee may apply for speaker events).

In addition to learning and having fun, members will benefit from the discount offered to club members by a number of local garden centres. Most offer a 10% discount but some offer more. Most members save their membership fee back many times over through these discounts. The membership application can be found at the bottom of the webpage.
All face to face events are on hold due to COVID-19. BDHS has moved to online presentations. Guests are welcome. Please e-mail Danielle Laurier at firstname.lastname@example.org to get meeting details.
