Vankleek Hill and District Horticultural Society
District 1
The Vankleek Hill and District Horticultural Society has been active since 1906, and we are still going strong! We meet every third Thursday at locations listed on Facebook and in our local newspaper The Review.
Our website is vkhhorticultural.ca
Each year we are responsible for the planters at the 4 entrance signs to Vankleek Hill, for the flower beds at Mill St. Park, and for the rose bed at the Higginson Tower. In the past 100 years we have planted trees all over town.
Each spring we hold a plant sale that the whole town anticipates.
In 2023, we co-hosted a tour of 8 gardens with a local church to display the talents of our gardeners.
New members are always welcome to share our knowledge and have fun.
