Our Society was established in 1996. Our mission is education and the beautification of the Village of Thorndale. Guests and visitors are always welcomed at our General Meetings. Our Society sponsors several awards at the Thorndale Fall Fair. Another program that we participate in is a bursary for Fanshawe College. We received donations from our business committee, a grant from OMAFRA and from Thames Centre. We receive financial support from Thorndale Lions, Thorndale Optimists and Donnybrook Legion in Dorchester. One of our major supporters is Heeman's Garden Centre & Strawberry Farm

The second Wednesday of every month except January and July. The meetings start at 7:30 PM.
Weedy Wednesday event - We meet on Wednesday starting in May and ending in October every Wednesday excluding General Meeting evenings to tidy up the gardens that we maintain. It is then followed by a social (optional) for the volunteers.
We have a list of places that do provide discounts and don't. This is a list that is provided to our members.
