The Markdale and District Horticultural Society was founded in 1912 and continues to actively managing gardens, beautifying the streets and sharing horticultural knowledge. We belong to District 8, and located on the most east and north corner of the district. Members come from Meaford in the north, Dundalk in the south, Feversham from the east.

Our meetings are held at 7:30 pm on the last Wednesday every month except January, July and August when there is no meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend. Stay afterwards for coffee, tea and snacks while mingling with the Society's membership. Wear your name badge. Lug a Mug!
