Belle River and District Horticultural Society
To all our members:
We are now in the second year of pandemic gardening. Our society has been on hiatus and all of us are waiting for the ordeal to end; in gardening and in all our lives and families. The days are noticeably getting longer and under the snow there are plants that are waiting for the warmer weather just as we are. Our leaders tell us that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and we all hope it is not another freight train rushing towards us...
This winter has been long and we lost three of our members: John, Fred and Ed. We will keep them in our memory.
But there is hope. We will come out of this and we will meet again. It will take all our efforts to pick up the pieces and rebuild. This will give us the opportunity to find ways to make our organization stronger and better. We will need “all hands on deck” with ideas and commitment to start up again when the situation allows it. So we ask you all to stay tuned and to stay healthy!
