16th Annual Plant Market is being held at the Optimist Park Parking lot on Saturday, May 11th from 8:30 to Noon. Perennial plants, garden art, vendors and bagged worm castings will be available.
Tuesday, April 16 - Our Society will be welcoming Suzette Cecile and Lisa Simard who will be demonstrating how to make a mini garden for your home. The Flower Show at the June Closing Party will be based on these mini gardens and members are encouraged to pick up a listing of the various categories and participate in the show. The meeting is being held at St. Simon and Jude Hall, 267 Meunier Street in Belle River and commences at 7:30 p.m. Please remember to bring your own beverage container.
Tuesday, May 21 - We will be welcoming Teri Dent from Chatham who will be doing a presentation on Xeriscaping gardens. Xeriscaping is the process of landscaping, or gardening that reduces or eliminates the need for irrigation. The meeting is being held at St. Simon and Jude Hall, 267 Meunier Street in Belle River and commences at 7:30 p.m. Please remember to bring your own beverage container.
