SUMMARY:Annual District Meeting
DESCRIPTION:This three day event is one we at District 14 look forward to each year. It gives us the chance to meet old and new friends from other societies within our district. This year the event takes place over a three day period. There will be workshops\, garden tours and a keynote speaker on Saturday evening. And we’ve scheduled time for shopping in the village of Kakabeka Falls\, where the event takes place. This is the first time the event has been held here so it will be new to many. We look forward to welcoming you to our AGM this year.

SUMMARY:CHS May Meeting & Flower Show: 'Invasive Species'

Living in the Greenbelt of the GTA\, he has taken the opportunity to steward and study numerous native plant communities within multiple ecotypes and varied microclimates. Paul maintains a strong knowledge of Ontario native plant species and their communities and fosters them in his own gardens. He is a member of the Ontario Biodiversity Council\, the current chair of the Ontario Native Plant Growers Association\, a past member of Kawartha Conservation’s BlueScape Steering Committee\, the past President of the North American Native Plant Society and the past Vice Chair of the Scugog Environmental Advisory Committee.
