SUMMARY:Pest and How to Control Them with Mary Reid
DESCRIPTION:Mary Reid\, the owner of Green Thumb Garden centre in Nepean is back with her wonderful knowledge of horticulture. Mary will talk about pest in our gardens and will answer questions about how to deal with them \nFrom teacher to banker to garden centre owner\, Mary Shearman Reid for the past 25+ years finds \nherself at Green Thumb Garden Centre (SE of Merivale and Hunt Club off Bongard). Mary \ngrew up in a family of gardeners\, worked as a gardener during her summers at university\, and \ntries to find time to garden at home. She uses those practical skills and knowledge as well as her \nbusiness and retail skills at Green Thumb. Mary is a member of Landscape Ontario\, a CLHM \n(Certified Landscape Horticulturist Manager) and volunteers as a Master Gardener. Mary enjoys \nteaching for the local school boards\, and speaking to garden clubs\, horticultural societies and \nother groups.
