Tomatoes from Seed to Salsa
March 22, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Tomatoes are wonderful in the garden!
Master Gardener Judith Cox will take us through the growing process from starting seeds, dealing with diseases and pests and onto the harvest. What is the difference between heritage and hybrid tomatoes? Why do they get blossom-end rot? What manner of nightmare is a tomato hornworm? Lots of interesting ideas to explore.

Judith Cox loves working in the dirt! She has a small art business called LapisDragon Arts and also writes a regular column for the Landowner Magazine. Judith has two adult children, a dog, assorted poultry and too many cats. Her own garden is a large collection of plants that need a lot of love. She really enjoys growing heritage vegetables and many colours of roses and daylilies.
