Thorold Garden Club’s 95th Anniversary

Special guest speaker: Bruce MacKenzie
Bruce was Grimsby’s representative on the NPCA. As a naturalist with a lifelong passion for the natural world he pointed out native species of birds and detailed conservation efforts surrounding invasive species. We hope he will be able to shed some light on developers here who are trying to -re-create nature after bulldozing Thorold’s infamous – ???? “FROG POND”. ????
Personally, I am curious as to how they plan on training the few frogs that managed to survive, to cross under the road using the culvert built just for them. ????(1st teach chess, then teach them safety first road crossing?)
