The World of Spiders in a Healthy Ecosystem

Joanne Tunnicliffe is a graduate of the University of Guelph. She ran science/nature clubs, taught about the outdoors and was also a resource to schools, daycares and senior centres. Joanne uses props and materials to augment her teaching style.
Joanne has a passion for teaching about Carolinian gardens. Her sense of humour and passion for teaching often leaves her audience with a curiosity to find out more.
Subject: The mysterious world of spiders.
Spiders are an indication of a healthy ecosystem. Find about webs, eggs, types of spiders and some of the curious things they do to survive. This entertaining talk will support why you love to garden and support the natural habitat. Meet and greet/refreshments at 7 PM. The formal meeting and flower show begins at 7:30 PM
