Come and hear Paul Zammitprofessor of Horticulture at Niagara College speak to the FHS about The Need for Gardens on Wednesday, September 20th as he enlarges on this topic. Paul is a graduate of the University of Guelph and previously held the position of Director of Horticulture at the Toronto Botanical Garden for ten years. He is a passionate gardener and lover of nature who has been delivering presentations across Canada, the United States, and internationally. He is co-leading tours in 2023 to England, Ireland and Scotland. Paul was also the recipient of the 2019 and 2021 Garden Communicator of the Year award from Landscape Ontario. Meet and greet begins at 7 followed by a brief communication then the speaker presentation.
