Etobicoke Horticultural Society: Succulent Gardening For Beginners

Molly and Alex Shannon will discuss indoor container gardening with succulents, growing hardy perennial succulents outdoors in Ontario, how to properly propagate succulent plants, proper soil to use when planting succulents, and the many varieties of succulents and how to keep them alive and thriving.
Molly and Alex are two succulent obsessed sisters based out of the GTA who have a passion for living decor and creating unique arrangements using the highest quality plants. They create succulent and cacti arrangements for indoor container gardening, outdoor planter pots, centrepieces, and wedding favours. Their business, Canadian Succulents, started out as a hobby, sharing their succulent collection and arrangements on their Instagram account. Since then, their account has grown to over 26,000 followers and they have been recognized by Home and Garden TV as being one of “The Best Canadian Florists with the Most Inspiring Designs”.
