Our Feathered Friends

March 13 @ 7:00 pm

Have you ever wondered about the birds that you see in the neighbourhood, and how you might attract more to your garden? Join us on March 13th at the Leaside Library at 7:00 m (refreshments available from 6:30 pm) for a photo-essay presentation by Sasan Beni, writer turned horticulturalist and passionate birdwatcher and photographer – a journal of the seasons and our feathered friends that call Toronto home.

We’ll learn how our gardens can be an essential habitat for birds in all seasons. We’ll also see that birdwatching can be a therapeutic hobby, and Beni will share some tips about how to find some more elusive species, while enjoying our wildlife ethically.
