OHA SPECIAL MEETING FOR ALL SOCIETIES AND CLUBS

TO ALL SOCIETIES AND CLUBS:

The Ontario Horticultural Association (OHA) is holding a Special Meeting of its membership on Friday, May 28, 2021, beginning at 7 pm by Zoom and teleconference. We look forward to your attending either virtually or by proxy. This meeting should be completed in about an hour.

You are encouraged to participate and help us reach a quorum. At least 100 members representing at least 50 societies are required to be present on May 28th.

Your vote is very important. Whether or not your society or club is able to attend the meeting either by Zoom or teleconference, you should be represented. Therefore, we urge you to complete, sign, date, and promptly return the proxy form by email.

This special meeting has been called for the purpose of asking our membership to approve a resolution to create a new By-Law, which cannot wait until our OHA AGM in July, as noted in the full resolution document.

By-Law 10, 10.4. All meetings may be held at an in-person venue or may be held via electronic means provided such means allows all in attendance the ability to hear and also the opportunity and ability to have a voice and to vote.

Registration for the Special Meeting will be required in order to receive the Zoom login or call-in information which will be sent out by the OHA Registrar.
