April 26, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Anna Leggatt – Gardening during Climate Change – Lower your Garden’s Carbon Footprint.

Environmental gardening is very important for us all. Using natural controls will keep us healthy and reduce species loss. A healthy environment will help to slow Global Warming. This presentation will touch on how to make your garden wildlife friendly, avoiding some pests.

Anna Leggatt is a former high school teacher, she belongs to many horticulture and nature groups,  serving on boards. She loves shrubs, bulbs, rock gardening, wildflowers, Japanese effects, working with stone and changing her garden designs. She wants to grow vegetables. However, deer and groundhogs would like her, eat them as well.

She won the NARGS Marvin Black Award in 2017, a Silver Award from GARDENCOMM in 2016, Volunteer Awards from Province of Ontario, East York and prizes for photography.
