English Gardeners and Their Gardens – Susan Lipchak
June 10, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Susan Lipchak is a consummate gardener with a deep passion for plants, a passion that helped her segue from violist for 40 years in the Toronto Symphony Orchestra to an active Toronto Master Gardener.
In addition to her work as a Master Gardener, giving presentations and providing gardening advice, Susan has been a volunteer gardener at the Toronto Botanical Gardens for 13 years, and leads tours of the TBG and the Toronto Music garden. She received a Community Volunteer Service Award for Don Valley West in 2019. She is an active member of the Ontario Rock Garden and Hardy Plant Society, and the Greater Toronto Bulb Society.
Susan’s own large and varied garden has been featured in Toronto Garden tours including Through the Garden Gate a few years ago. She enjoys visiting gardens wherever she goes, be it in Toronto, Canada or abroad and will look forward to resuming that activity soon.
This presentation is based on visits to several iconic gardens in the U.K., most recently in June/July of 2019.
