District 18 Fall Workshop

Open to members of Horticultural Societies within District 18. Come join us for a fun filled few hours.
Registration will be from 9 am to 10 am. Registration is $5.00. Refreshments will be served.
Our morning speaker will be Sharon and Jim Bowler who will be educating us with their power point presentation on Winter Hardy Cactus. Sharon will bring along some specimens for anyone who is interested. In the afternoon, Cortney Legros will show us how to make a Burlap Wreath. The cost is $15.00 for anyone who wishes to participate. These wreaths may be decorated for any occasion, but for this meeting we will be choosing to decorate for Autumn. Participants are asked to bring wire cutters and any accessories that they may want to use to decorate the wreath.
Bring a bag lunch or purchase one of three meal choices from Seven Main cafe for $15.00.
There are four lunch choices. 1. Turkey, spinach, cranberry sauce, almonds, goat cheese wrap
2. Chicken club, lettuce, tomato, shred cheddar cheese and ranch wrap
3. Thai veggie assorted veggies and Thai sauce wrap
4. Ham, cheddar, tomato, lettuce and mustard on a pretzel bun.
All choices come with either a bowl of soup or a seven main salad.
(salad, spinach, strawberries, cranberries, candied pecans and goat cheese with our house maple vinaigrette)Societies are asked to bring 2 or 3 plants for a Silent Auction.
There will also be a Draw for a chance to win 3 items. Tickets are 3 for $5.00. Draw prizes are a handmade Solitary Bee House, a handmade Bird house and a beautiful Autumn print.
Registration information will be sent to the Societies . Everyone must pre-register and choose their meal by September 9, 2019
