Kirkton Horticultural Society Day Trip to Elgin County ?
Monday 5th June, 2023, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
(Specific time and locations for bus departure to follow.)
Cost $60 pp. includes bus transportation, tours & lunch
Prepare yourself for a fun and full day with tour guide Cathy Bachner.
?First stop at Wildflowers Farm
for a Wildflower Garden & Beehive Tour
in addition to Tea Sampling with Registered Herbalist, Jane Magri
?Visit the award winning St.Thomas Elevated Bridge
with guides Shelley MacKenzie & Sherry Burgess
?Enjoy a locally catered lunch at Bachner Family Farm
(Wraps, Sandwiches, Salads & Shaw’s Ice Cream)
?Bring your wallet & desire for new plants to shop at Canadale Nursery.
?Stroll through the impressive Belmont Community Park.
?Please note that some stops will have uneven terrain. Read the attached waiver which
will be signed prior to boarding bus?
?Rain or Shine. Dress for the weather. Wear appropriate footwear.?
Must be a 2023 Kirkton Horticultural Society member (for insurance purposes).
Register early as spaces are limited! Deadline is March 1, 2023.
This tour will be open to other Horticultural Clubs after March 1st.
Registration is complete when funds are deposited.
