Get outside and learn with us! A summer hike has been set with Lydia Wong, “Exploring Native Plants & Pollinators”. Lydia is a PhD candidate working with Dr. Jessica Forrest at the University of Ottawa. Her research explores the impacts of warming and drying climates on wild bees and wasps. Lydia will lead a hike at the Carden Alvar Provincial Park. Get ready to explore the native plants and where the pollinators live. Excellent opportunity to learn from a working scientist and have a fun outing.
Open to all registered CHS Youth Members and guardians.
Bring a packed lunch.
Date: Monday July 8 from 10am to 2pm. Car pooling to park to be arranged.
