Join us as James Kamstra presents “Birds in the Garden and on the Land”. As more habitats become threatened through development, attracting backyard birds provides a critical oasis for bird and wildlife conservation, both for local species and migrating birds. This helps preserve birds both in the yard and in the larger local environment. Learn what we can grow and do in our gardens and property to bring birds to your area. Bird-friendly landscaping makes use of native plants and available resources in environmentally conscious ways. James will present his knowledge on what works for the many different species in our area. Enjoy the benefits of birds in your gardens and how to attract them!
