Delhi & District Hort Society

Our Society was originally founded in 1932 and was re-organized in 1982 after several years of inactivity. Our society will celebrate its 30th Anniversary this year. The Dogwood is our Society's flower.

Objectives

To promote the protection of the environment and to encourage an interest in horticulture by promoting youth and community involvement.

Meetings

Our meetings are held the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the Delhi Friendship Centre, 418 Queen Street. There are no meetings held in July and August. Our members plant the flower beds at the Ontario Tobacco Museum during June.

Our meetings include a business meeting, guest speaker, monthly flower & photography competitions, plant sales and draw tables followed by refreshments and fellowship.
